    Panasonic tc-p55gt30 no picture

    I picked ths tv last weekend, usual shorted out sc board, 7 blinks. I replace the shorted fets, but the tv doesn't show any display.
    No more blinking front led. The board seems ok. Both the sc board and the ss board have the green led lights lit up.
    I checked the buffers for shirts like you guys thought me on here.

    Any ideas?

      The two 301f131 that I just put in are reading shorted again. But there is no blinking front led.

          The tnpa5335 that I attempted to repair was one I had laying around. I replaced to two fets that were reading shorted, confirmed when off the board, but still didn’t work.

          I replaced the six 301F131 shorted fets on the tnpa5335 that came out of the tv and now the tv works.

          Since I have two of these TVs, I was keeping a tnpa5335 around as a spare. Now that I have the back off the tv, I would like to figure out what is wrong with the sc board that blew the fet again. Not all of 301F131 shorted, just two.

              Hi every one. I just want to share the successful repair of my shorted Panasonic TNPA4782AB SC board.

              I don't usually do it but so many parts were shorted that I decided to buy the ShopJimmy repair kit instead of sourcing each components individually. Here is the list of components the kit contained, with a remark indicating if I needed that part or not :

              D608, good
              D618 RF101L4S, good (See warning 1 below)
              D619 RF101L4S, good (See warning 1 below)
              D865 RF101L4S, shorted (See warning 1 below)

              IC464 Inverter HA MC74HC1G14, shorted...

              Un70TU7000b Backlights work, no picture, has sound, panel shorted caps

              Picked up this Samsung above thinking it'd be backlights but it isn't. Now MAYBE I'll get lucky.
              Found some shorted caps among the panel boards. Each cap along the line is shorted. On every board (3 panel driver boards)I disconnect each side right and left ribbons and they are no longer shorted caps and have about 1.5Mohm resistance (on left and right boards). The middle board has the main board disconnected and the caps are shorted. Last 4 pics show arrow to caps.

              Now what exactly do I need to do in order to attempt to fix this issue?

              do I have to take each one...

              Panasonic AG-1000B VHS player with bad picture quality

              Hello!

              I recently got an old VHS player from Panasonic and just for fun I want to try to repair this device. It is an AG-1000B portable VHS player from 1990 and it has a problem with picture quality in playback mode.

              Picture in playback mode is very noisy and often loses sync but the still images are nearly perfect.

              I want to know, is this something that could be solved by recapping or is the video head likely gone?

              Also, what mechanism is this?

              Any feedback is appreciated!...

              Panasonic TH-65FX800A backlight LED's working but picture is very dark

              Hi all

              While I have quite a decent background in electrical & electronic troubleshooting & repairs, this is my first time stripping down an LCD TV for repair.... I have inherited a 3yr old Panasonic LCD which has a picture, but it is quite dark (too dark to be watchable - but still quite easy to see; I didnt need a torch to see it).

              I started by checking and trying to adjust all of the picture and backlighting levels, but that made little to no difference. I also did a factory reset.

              From there I envisaged that the backlighting wasn't working, however...

              T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)

              Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

              The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

              Original T-con:
              Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

              First replacement T-con:

              I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...
