Re: SONY XBR65x900E no image
1- you have double post for the info
2- since this is android system first things you need to to do hard reset, how to
plug it out from wall socket first, press on the TV side panel power and volum- minus keep them pressed then plug it in wall socket, the LED indicator will change from white to Green , release the 2 button .. give it time around 30 minute as it will restart 2 time and make new install , in case still no image you should hear the first install music sound stable after this 30 minute or less waiting time.. report your result -

by rimwallThis TV was showing a fine image and pulsing with a partial double image (offset vertically) every few seconds. I taped 8 clock pins on one ribbon cable from the Tcon to the panel. It stopped the double image, but some pulsing in intensity was still visible. I then taped another 8 clock pins on the same ribbon cable and the image is now ‘fixed’. Although I understand this results in some loss of resolution, presumably because the clock signal degrades as it passes horizontally across the screen.
I am wondering - do these symptoms and ‘fix’ mean that it’s a Tcon fault or... -
by NSkyLabI though I've seen all possible kinds of failures but this one is new...
Colors saturation is gradual.y fading out on the left side of the screen (all colors are fading out). While B&W image is looking good.
I tried replacing TCon but nothing changed. So this is looking like the panel failure. Is there a chance it can be fixed?
Any useful measured can be done on the panel's narrow pcbs? Is there may be something similar to taping trick to fix this issue?... -

by DreamcazmanHi all, I recently picked up a Sony KV-XJ29M31 CRT TV (BG3R chassis, Australian model) cheaply & completed the RGB mux mod on it for some retro gaming. That worked great, however, I have another problem which I hope someone can help me with or at least steer me in the right direction.
Basically, the issue is when it's cold, it takes a while (like 2 mins) for the picture to come up. I think the image is there, it's just very dark or dim. I can hear the degaussing sound & I can change inputs & hear audio but no image.
Once it's running properly, it keeps... - Loading...
