Some one has removed the following capacitors from a vizio board no. 0500-0412-0750. I can't find any help on this, Hopefully someone can tell me the value and voltage of C301, C302, C208 and C209 or tell me where to find info. on this TV. Vizio VO420E/VL420M Thanks

Re: Vizio TV Model VO420E Missing capacitors
I know what you are saying, but you can see that they had been unsoldered from the board. A close look at the same board shows the capacitors were there. Just can't make out what the values are.Comment

Re: Vizio TV Model VO420E Missing capacitors
C301 and C302 are 2200uF/10V. Can be replaced by suitable 2200uF/16V if you don't have 10V caps.
Beware of other issues with this power board. If someone scavenged these caps for a different project, they may already know the board is faulty. People rarely take parts from a more expensive fully working board just for $0.50 in parts unless it's not working.Last edited by Unspun01; 03-08-2019, 02:48 PM.Comment

by Fahd QureshiHi All,
I recently purchased as MSI RTX 2080 SEAHAWK X, which isn't working. I noticed there are 2 capacitors missing from the back- see images. I am wondering, could this explain why the card won't work? I appreciate any help!2 Photos11-12-2024, 12:20 PM -
by jossbnr34Hi, recently acquired a second-hand MSI Geforce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Fan 8G LHR graphics card. After spending two days trying everything and going crazy because my PC didn't detect it, and the fans weren't spinning, I couldn't figure out where the problem was. Yesterday, I found that some capacitors were missing, and some were broken. I imagine it might have been due to a fall or something like that. I'm trying to find a diagram of my card to see what type of capacitors it uses and their voltage to attempt a repair if possible. I'm new to this, but I have done some simpler soldering repairs on video...4 Photos

Hi Everyone,
I have a MacBook Air I've repaired, a mid-2012 13-inch 820-3209-A. It works. My only concern is that it is still missing (3) 22uF (0402 4V 20%) VAGX decoupling capacitors. Specifically, capacitors C1730, C1731, and C1732.
How necessary are these capacitors? It has (11) 22uF to begin with; missing (3), my board now only has (8).
I've been having difficulty sourcing new replacement capacitors without paying too much. Does anybody have any vendors state-side to recommend? Mouser charges parts + $8 shipping + $7 cutting fee (unless I buy an... -
Hi
I have a card that is missing capacitors, in the places marked in red.
Does anyone know their value?
Thanks in advance for your help... -
by dicky96This board has 14 missing electrolytic capacitors. I have no idea why, that is how I got the board. Whoever removed them did a pretty decent job of it and used flux which was still on the board making it easy to see where they had been working. The only thing I have done so far is used my vacuum desoldering tool to clean the holes of old solder.
As I say, I have no idea why this obviously reasonably skilled person has removed the capacitors as I don't read a short across any of them.
The three near the DIMM and ATX connector slots all read 546ohms (these are all in parallel)... - Loading...
