RC command goes to the SoC not to the MICOM. MICOM are from name COM its responsible to turn on circuits and to shutdown them too if SOS signal flagged on

SoC sleeps in standby mode and it cannot receive commands from the remote control, and micom is always in operation, it is controlled from the remote control and from the keyboard and when receiving the ON command, it starts the DC/DC converters to turn on the SoC, the basic circuit diagrams must be understood and the operating principle of the TV.
MICOM is a programmable microcontroller (containing its own firmware).

Please note I do not have a electrical background but hopefully in a couple of days I will get pin 6 cut and post the results even then the results maybe inconclusive due to other unknown faults but please give me a couple of days to get back to all of you - thank you all for your contributions.

I'm waiting for this with impatience to prove to Diah, to whom you can never prove anything (just don't damage this leg of the chip, if you break it off, it will be a disaster, it can't be repaired).

Diah read this topic, maybe you will remember your advice and mine and who was right about Micom and that Micon gave TV launch from the remote control and keyboard, and due to faulty firmware Micom TV was a complete corpse (brick).

I'm just waiting for my friend to do this disconnection of pin6 hopefully within a couple of days and will then post the results. Thank you all for your help and I mean everyone regardless of opinion

my advice always didn't make any harm to users set.
i wrote before he had disrupted MICOM which keep sending Shutoff to PSU. PIN6 are the IN SOS. by taking it out from circuit the MICOM will reset it self (maybe) if there no other issue happened on the MP,
explorer the SoC you will find Pins for IR

                                Hi Community,

I've got the above model that activates the relay (clicks) and powers on the LG logo power light on when turned on. It then almost immediately turns off. I not noticed any image on the screen or heard any sound during this brief period.

                                Checks show:
3.5v on SMPS on (in off state, no other voltages present incl pwr on)
On pressing power button > the 3.5 pwn on voltage, 12v and 24v lines appear on the SMPS connnector between the main the SMPS but then all drop the zero in 1-2 seconds
Disconnecting 24 to TCON connector and powering on shows...
