Sanmsung TV UN55EH6000FXTZ no power on.

I have a UN55EH6000FXTZ that stopped turning on.
Initially it would turn on if you hit the power button again, then it would work if the standby light was on, but eventually the light was always off and the unit would not turn on with the remote or the power button on the TV.
I opened the unit up and checked the voltage on pin 12 on the connector on the BN44-00499A board. It came back 5.38V.
I unplugged the power to the main board and plugged the unit in and the LED array lights up.
I reconnected everything and checked the voltage coming back off the main board when I hit the power switch. The voltage does not go high so I assume there is a fault on the main board preventing the system from sending signal to the power board to start the LED and play the chime.
Is there anything else I should check before buying a replacement for the main board? Thank you for your help and Happy New Year.

Disconnecting the connector on the PSU that goes to the Main Bd. and then getting the LED backlights to come on when plugged into the 120Vac confirms that the Main Bd is not working/defective. A new Main Bd. will get your TV going again. Look for a BN97-XXXXX No. on a white sticker on the Main Bd. Or perhaps you could post a photo of your Main Bd. for us to verify you are purchasing the correct part.

      Thank you for the help.

There are two stickers and a code on the silk screen. The one with the most recent date is BN97-06546A

there are two other codes one starts BN41 and the other BN94. I assume that BN97 is the latest revision of this logic board when it was manufactured.

Double check your model number, not seeing any FXTZ.

Whole bunch there including some eeprom repair kits for $7.35, need to make sure your numbers match or give m a call to verify. https://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsea...?q=BN97-06546A

The part will be the BN94xxxx is what you want to match up, might even be some on ebay.

I believe matching the BN97 number will get you the correct board but it may be configured for a different screen size or model variation. You should match the BN41 for less hassles.

NOPE, BN41 and BN97 are generic board numbers, the number to match is BN94xxxx.

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?

Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                  Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                  by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                  Assuming...

                  Repair Success! Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP
                  by valvashon
Yesterday I successfully repaired a Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP that had inadvertently been used as a surge suppressor at our transmitter site. It has already been replaced with an updated one but it's coming home with me now instead of being e-cycled. To be specific, this is the MA model that has the blue backlit display and has been discontinued, although this design may have been used in many UPS units including the smaller Middle Atlantic ones in this series.

Here's what happened: We experienced a brownout/surge at the site, which damaged the UPS and took our broadcasting...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                  by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...
