I had to step aside and work on other stuff. if I had a scope I would of been able to do more with this set.
I noticed two Traces kept getting ripped from all them cap replacements when I was working on the board I tried to track where I could attach a jumper wire too but couldn't find a reference to them maybe if I had a schematic it would of worked out better.
least now someone has more information on this tv set on what common faults are
Yes I will keep a look out for a cracked tv for a mainboard I don't think 100aud is economical enough for this tv.

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
