    LG RZ-42PX10 green pixels noise

Hello, I have this plasma TV with green pixels randomly appear all over the screen.

    Sticker
    Va: 65V
    Vs: 195V

At brighter images it seems to get worse with more pixels scattered than dark/black pictures.
Vs was dropped to 190V so I adjusted it a bit to reach 196V but that doesn't help much. Any ideas what could be it?

    That was fastest fix ever..
I dropped the Vs to 186V and now it's working like a charm

The enemy of good is better...
I tried to perfect the TV, by setting the Va a little higher and lower. The TV shutdown and now it doesn't turn back on...
I get an orange light on standby and standby voltage 0,5V
The relay doesn't come up even with Y and Z sus cables pulled off

              LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
              by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

              Then each time...

Removing electrical noise introduced by fan
              by tony359
              Hi all,

I am working on a sound processor, it tends to overheat so I fitted a fan inside. The fan is connected to the +15V of the PSU via a DC-DC converter based on the LM2596 to reduce the voltage to around 10.5V.

Unfortunately the analogue circuitry is picking up the noise from the fan in two ways:
              1. The fan is close to the analogue section, the motor itself gets into the outputs so I'll have to move it somewhere else
              2. Even with the fan running outside of the case, there is still some noise which is clearly going back to the processor via power line....

Onkyo TX-SR805 noise in one channel
              by MegaZAC
Surprisingly enough, this receiver doesn't have the DSP chip issue. The HDMI board does not get hot, and sound over HDMI works fine.

Regardless of the input, the right channel has noise that is clearly noticeable even on average volume level. The only cases when there's no noise is when VCR input is selected (some tracks on the board are damaged, maybe that's why), or if HDMI input is selected but nothing plugged into it. In all other cases, even when no input is connected I still have the noise.

There's some logic behind it. As soon as I select an input I get only left...

Samsung LN46A750R1 LCD - Moving green and magenta pixels
              by Tbfm
              Hi all.

I bought this LCD TV back in 2008 new and has worked and looked awesome since day one until about 8 months ago when these moving green and magenta dots started showing up that would move with the picture displayed seemingly with certain displayed colours often with whites.

The pixels appear in the system menu displays so I am certain that its not any kind of faulty cables or bad hdmi, and also removed/reseated and cleaned the LVDS cable with no change.

I have looked all over Badcaps and the internet in general for people with similar issues...

Philips HTS8000 home cinema noise problem
              by courtcircuit
              Hello

I have since a long time a Philips HTS8010S/01 which has been old but was doing the job.

Since a few days, it starts by making a weird "static" nois when switches on for a few seconds to a minute and then works like a charm.
Noise loudly outputs from the 3 channels, even if no signal is sent by the controler.DVD to the subwoofer/amp unit.

I was thinking of a soldering that was starting to be damaged and that was only doing the job after a few seconds of heating, most probbaly on the power board
              Removed each of tyhe boards
              ...
