Picked up a Sony Bravia KDL-55EX710. Has 7 blinks. Once in a great while will start. Normally it just clicks on the right back off. Has energy saving swith on the side instead of in the settings like normal. Standby is 1.5 instead of 3.3. Any sugestions?

Start by providing good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards, and then good clear pictures of the connectors of the power supply board so we read pin names.

Training manual for similar model here. Says 7 blinks is temperature (main board).

The only voltage i can check on the PS is the standby, because it will not turn on. I have 1.5 at the 3.3.Comment

If you truly has only 1.5V to run the main board, I doubt that it will be enough for the main board to run and produce 7-blink code. Meter is good for sure?
So all other pins on that power supply's connector that goes to the main board show what Voltages? 0 Volt?Never stop learning

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times... -
Hello,
i have this sony bravia kdl-43w755c which boot loops. After sony logo, it shows the android animation loading then it restarts…
from what i read online it looks to be an emmc issue…
i’m not familiar with this kind of tv repairs… i’m repairing laptops and gpu’s…
i took out the board and say an samsung 16gb emmc
i don’t have an exact replacement, but i have a few 32 and 64gb emms’s from laptops…
i could try to put one instead of the 16gb one, but will it work?
where do i get the software from?

Greetings everyone.
I also have Sony Bravia, model:
Sony Bravia KD43XF7596BAEP - Android.
What happend is that image dissapeared while we were watching tv.
Diagnostics:
1. TV turns on, no errors
2. Backlight turs on, no errors
3. Power indicator turns on, white color, no errors
4. Menu works on android, you can hear sound while switching channels
5. Volume up and down works via TV remote and via buttons
6. Tunner works, HEVC / MPEG-4 decoder works
7. I get audio from channels
8. No picture is present,... -
Previous owner said TV just went blank one day.
They attempted to open the back panel and yanked the power connector off the power supply in the meantime.
Easily fixed that and got the TV to turn on. Backlights come one with everything connected. Good Sign.
The mainboard shows signs of life (red light on digital audio out is on) but that's about it. Good Sign.
There is not blinking LED and the most importantly there is LED response and sound when I press the MENU button on remote control. GREAT Sign.
