Bose RC28T1-27 Remote For AV28 PCB Schematic

My Bose RC18T1-27 Remote Control for Lifestyle 18 Needs Repair as half of the buttons is not functional due to pcb corrosion (at the bottom). Please see images.
Can anyone help me with some suggestion so that i can make the upper half of the clean pcb buttons operational (which I normally use)so that i can still use the remote.
If anyone can point me to a pcb schematic of the remote so that i can cutoff the damaged buttons and make the other good buttons work.

Is there a way to test if the remote is sending rf signal when a good button is pressed. This is a rf remote so no led or IR signals.

You can use your cell phone camera and press a button on remote. You will see a light through the camera on the screen. They also sell remote control button repair compound.

Can you obtain a replacement remote? I have found a replacement is always the better option if there are multiple problems.

Schematic for Denon Remote Control RC1156
                  by hemant_2222
                  Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying their repairs at hand!.

I am looking forward to get the schematic of Denon remote control RC1156. Actually long time no use of the remote leaked the battery thereby corroding few parts as well as the tracks.

I was able to join few of them but the remote is still not working, so i am looking forward for your help, in case anyone understand the schematic or the remote circuit diagram and could me assist me in repairing it.

Please refer to the attached picture, i think the voltage divider is missing...

                  Bose Lifestyle 650 remote malfunction

                  Hi everyone,

I'm trying to fix this RF Bose remote (model nr. 420129) for a friend. After applying supply voltage the display shows the Bose logo, after a short period of time it goes dark and the MCU enters a sleep mode. It wakes up after a key is pressed, the display remains dark all the time after the start up sequence.

Sometimes it can still be paired with the main unit and you can control it for a short period of time, then the unit stops reacting again.

The pcb is clean, there are no signs of corrosion. The voltages look adequate.

                  I read...

                  Howdy everyone!

I have a SUV with a Bose audio system and I'm considering either a system upgrade, or purchasing a complete replacement system while bypassing the integrated Bose system.

On the Bose side, I have not found any specifications yet. It's a decent system but I'm, at a minimum, replacing all the factory speakers, head unit and adding an amp and two 8" subs. The Bose is a 2ohm system and I'm not certain about this point. In order to use a 4ohm set of speakers (component/loud), I would need to install 2 sets of 4ohm speakers wired in parallel to match the...

DeLonghi AC Remote only accepts 3V
                  by cstout
Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                  I can't find any schematics...

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH
                  by TinkerTron
                  Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
                  The schematic...
