Samsung PN50B450B1D showing evenly spaced vertical lines

When I first turn my TV on, it works fine for a few minutes and then the attached vertical lines show up across the screen. If i turn it off and back on same thing, works for a few minutes then the lines come back.
I have read other posts about the T-con PWB. Not sure if thats the problem with mine or not. Hoping to get some advice. Thanks

Do the lines cut through the menu box when menu button is pressed?

Ok. Remove the ldvs cable that goes from the mainboard to the control board. Its usually a flat wire. On the control board there is 4 pins. Take a harddrive jumper( for choosing master, slave, etc.) and put it on pins 3 and 4. Plug tv in and look at the test patterns on the screen. If they look good your mainboard is bad.
