    Unit in standby mode only.
    Does not turn on

    freeze the eeprom with a can of air upside down and then turn the tv on.

        If there is a bad EEPROM, there is about a 75% chance, that the TV turns back on again using this trick. If it does, you could do it again and read the EEPROM and copy it to a new EEPROM. A bad EEPROM in those Emerson TV's can prevent the TV from turning on.
