    Hitachi L32VK06U TV

    Hi all

    What a lovety fault on this set.

    Most of the time when turned on you get a blank screen with the backlights working. The volume diplay works as does the Input menu. If you switch it to any other input apart from DTV set will work normally.

    However on DTV just a blank screen, Menu function does not work. If you then turn tv off the red standby flashes. The only thing you can then do is unplug it from the mains and try again.

    About once in twenty tries the tv will start up and work absolutley fine.

    Have tried everything I can think of to cure this. i.e caps in power supply etc but still the fault persists.

    Any ideas anyone?

      sounds like a mainboard fault too me have you got the mainboard number as it maybe a problem we have seen before

          Yes I'm coming to the same conclusion.
          Its a Vestal Chaasis tv. Main board is 26WP16 (HIT).
          Stangest fault I've ever seen.
          Just put the set on and this time its working perfectly.
          Wonder if there is a rest code for the software.

                  maybe try a factory reset it should be in the settings menu

                      CH341a can erase and read but can't write and blank check

                      So I am trying to repair broken thunderbolt FW on X1 Yoga Gen 2. The EEPROM chip is WINBOND 25Q80DVNIG. I already do a back-up and erase. But when I try to wrote new FW, it was successfull, but when I tried to read it, it still blank. when I try to do a blank check, it gave me instant error in address 0. I already tried two CH341A, already did the 3.3v fix mod, using AsProgrammer, NeoProgrammer, Colibri, and CH341A 1.29. But the problem still occurred. What I did wrong here? Can anyone help me?                       Hello everyone. 😀

                      As per thread title, this unit has a serious SMPSU fault. It blows F1001, which is a 10A M205 in the phase from the mains input.
                      Very first thing I tried, was simply replacing the fuse, but the replacement ceramic fuse blew immediately.

                      Looking at the schematic for this PSU, I then removed what I thought was the next likely candidate: D1001 - the HV main bridge rectifier.
                      This isolated the fault(no longer blows the main fuse), but does not point me to the actual fault.
                      There are no devices that have exploded or otherwise show signs...

                      The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
                      I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
                      The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
                      The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.
                      Do you have the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 - Vestel 17MB171 motherboard or a solution to rotate the image in...

                      • Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
                      • Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
                      • Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
                      • Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.
                      • Tape masking eventually isolated to CN1300 pin 15 (CKV4_GOA) Display
