So yestirday I picked up a Samsung UN55H6203AFXZA with sound, no picture with an image on the screen for $40.00. It's a nice set. Backlights do not illuminate.
Voltages are all present at indicated values except at the LED connector. I have volts at the first pair (callout “M1”) but no volts on the rest of them. Looking at the power board the LED's appear to be daisy chained together. Looks like the return volts must dump in to the next pair, then the next and so on.
Pair voltages:
“M1”.…… ramps to 325V, drops for about 7 seconds and ramps to 325V, repeat
“M2” ……0
“M3”…….0
“M4” ……0
“M5”…….0
Voltage from “M1” positive to “M2” “M3” “M4” and “M5” negative are identical to the M1 pair, ramps 325, drops for 7sec, ramps 325 and repeat.
My conclusion is M2 LED string is open.
Would anyone mind confirming this for me? Thanks!
