Are you sure it's no picture or is it no backlight. Can you see a picture if you shine a very bright light on the screen and look carefully?

tv powers on/off ok, and i can hear sound via laptop hooked to hdmi port
but i get no picture.
of course i suspect something is wrong with the tcon (built into the mainboard), or worse, the panel itself.
i get 12v at the fuse next to the LVDS cable on the panel side
and i get ranging voltages on those test points right below the LVDS cable as high as 1.6v and as low as 0.3vAttached Files -

I have a 2019 75" x950g, and while playing a movie, the screen suddenly went dark in a weird way, where it faded towards one corner into being fully black. Now the TV turns on, and the backlight comes on, but there is nothing displayed except black. Sound still comes through the TV speakers, and i have tried doing a hard reset using the volume - and power buttons while plugging the display back in, but it did not fix it. I can confirm that pressing buttons on my remote is still doing "something" because I'm hearing sound still, even though the screen is black.

KDL-60EX500. Comes on fine, sound is fine, backlights come on. Blank screen. Already tried reset POWER/VOL-. Anyone else have this problem? Possibly bad T-Con RUNTK4244ZZ or panel? Could main or power supply cause this? There were 2 blown 560u 35v on power going to backlights but they were still working fine. Thanks for your help. -
Hi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. Hello everyone…I hope someone can help me to figure out…i have a sony tv which the screen is black but i can hear the sound …so I try in another similar tv a t-con , motherboard and all works perfect but in this tv i see only a black screen with illumination…the display is not broken ..so I think the problem is on the buffer board …someone can help me? Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
