    Samsung Ln32A300J1D Display issue

Hi all. So i have the forementioned tv. I plug it in, click the power button. I hear a startup chime from it. Backlights come on immediately, Then I kind of see the box that says no signal but it's very faint and kind of discolored. There's also a bit of a static overlay. I tried to capture it with my phone but my camera on my phone has seen better days. My immediate thought is either a problem with the screen or more than likely something wrong with the T-con board. However, it's been a while since i've messed with tv's like this. Any insight would be helpful. There are also what i would call vertical bars similliar to when you see a brightness adjustment test shown in the picture below. It's not quite that but the bars look kind of like it.

    http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn8...-con-board.htm Info.
Pay ATTENTION to the instructions in red " Confirm part number by finding 35-D026367 on the white sticker.

"IMPORTANT: Horizontal lines on the screen are virtually NEVER caused by a bad T-con board. Horizontal lines indicate a defective LCD panel (screen)"

Notice the sticker on back of YOUR tcon, you need to match those highlighted numbers to sticker on your replacement tcon.

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
            by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
            by Nairolf
            Hello,

            I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
            1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
            2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
            3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
            by vincentedel
            Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

            QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV Issue
            by Manucsl
            Hello.

My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.

Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊

After reading some posts on this forum, I suspect an eeprom issue so I bought a CH341A to dump...
