I just inherited a nice looking Samsung 55, but it's got no power, no standby light, nothing. Pulled the cover, and the fuse above the power connector is blown. I tried jumping another fuse to it, blew instantly. I'm a backyard, shadetree tinkerer at best, and don't have oodles of gear or experience. Am I best off to send this board in for repair, buy a replacement, or throw in the towel?

Re: BN44-00503A no power
Shopjimmy do a replacement power supply for $69.95 or repair kit for $18.77 but you would need to be able to solder small components if you purchase the repair kit.
