    Lg 42ln5300 led strips replace

    Hello everyone.

I have a lg tv model 42ln5300 with black screen but with sound.

I noticed that the voltage going to led strips was too high according the specs.
So i decided to check the led strips and i find one led burn out(1 of the 9) and one full line led strips out (no lights).

So i bought two complete led strips (9 total each).
    So far was good.
The problem start when i put everything back panels, boards, etc)

as soon turn on the tv i see shortly light from led strips and turn off and now is back black again.

    My question guys is...
Do you recommend everytime replace the all led strips and no just some??????
This tv have 6 complete led strips and i replace just bad ones(2)

i'm process of learning from my mystakes.

Yes. Another LED on a strip was ready for failure. This has happened to me before. That's why when I get the LED array running, I leave it on for about an hour before I start reassembly. Just insurance that it's going to last.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Did you verify that all the LEDs are on before putting the LCD panel back together? I usually let it run like that for at least 15 minutes. You also need to very that all the SMD connectors on the LED strip do not have bad soldering works, those connector are know for bad connection.

LED problem on samsung UE55F6475, 2 strips work. The rest is flashing every second.

          Ok.. this is the story:
Have an old Samsung LED 3D TV (UE55F6475). First it started to lose light on the lower 40% of the screen now and then. Like for 10-60 mins and then it would work again. Then a bit later it just got stuck in that position. The lower 40% of the screen is dark, and it gets progressively darker the lower u go so it's obviously that LED strips where not working. I also looked for similar errors online and saw an exact copy and on that one it was faulty LED strips.

This is kinda how it looked, just that mine were at the bottom of the screen:

RCA RLDED 4331B: 43 inch LED TV: Backlight issue
          by lmcancu
Hi I am having an issue with the LED backlight of this TV. I can see the picture with a flash light, so I determined it was a backlight issue.

Initially, after opening it I found 2 shorted and 1 open LED on 2 strips (total of 4). I removed the LEDs and shorted the pads together to verify if the backlight would work.

Testing it, I found the backlight turned on and I measured 54V when TV was in standby (off), and 100v when TV was turned on. The 4 strips each contain 9 LEDs, so 36 in all minus 3.

Instead of putting it back together I decided to replace...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...
