Need service mode access for RCA TV

Model is RLDED5078A-F.

I've seen the same type of user menu on many TVs, so I'll try my luck here. (see picture)

I would like to lower the backlight setting and was hoping to find it in the service menu.

Pressing "menu 1147" on the remote doesn't work.

Anyone?

I ended up cutting one of the two big 5R1 resistors to drop the LED current from almost 600mA(!!!) to less than 300mA. Crazy how much current they drive through these poor LEDs.

I have found calling up source or input then pressing 2 8 5 0. brings up service menu on many different brands on generics - skimpy menus though.
