Hello guys in hope for someone to have the answer to my problem I have decided to start this thread, I have a E470i-A0 with board 0171-2271-5032 or 3547-0852-0150 (2B) I have done some research on thi tvs and they all seem to share a common problem the eeprom, I ordered the eeprom for a Vizio E420-A0 thinking that this might fix my issue, once I got it I went ahead trying to locate the eeprom to change and could not find it, my board does not have the US4 or US5 labeled on it the only eeprom I found are 5 of them labeled as UP5 UP3 UL1 UH11 UH10 and i have no Idea which one it is to be changed, I was about to switch the UL1 since its the only one that is not labeled with similar letters, but I wanted to see maybe a more educated mind might have a solution to this problem, now I did some reading online and i found a webste whre they offer the dupms for the e420-a0 and I asked the owner if it would help me with my problem he didnt tell me for sure that it will but mentioned that this models share the same issue and might help, I wanna give it a try and hopefully get this working... I have attached pictures of my board and the eeproms for you guys to take a look at it, thank you so much

Re: E470i-A0 No power diming power light
UP3 and UP5 are labeled as LA8040JG after I did some research I found that its a Synchronous Step-Down Converter which from what I know might not be what I am looking for (might be wrong)
the other UP5 and UP3 have a label marked as ATMLh342 when i did research on that i found that both are Two-wire Serial EEPROM I am not sure if this might me the ones I have to change and if so which one?
and last but not least UL1 i have the APM4317 which says its a Power Management in Notebook Computer,Portable Equipment and Battery Powered Systems.
thanks -

Re: E470i-A0 No power diming power light
I have taken pics of the chips underneath the plate, I have come to terms with the fact these tvs come with different boards wish I knew this before anyway here are the pics, I am inclined to think US2 is the one with trouble as when I did some search I found tgat is nand memoryComment

I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

Anyone know if the Camry one will work on my Corolla?. And which EEPROM reader/writers do you all recommend I purchase that will allow me to read the old values of the old... -
by dmccul2698Hello, My head unit developed strange behaviors so I ran the built-in diagnostic package which returned "No EEProm". The service manual says there is no EEProm connected. I approached Pioneer and they said to swap out the DSP board. All said and good but the DSP board is $860 USD. I am hoping someone can help me
1). Understand the schematic and check the connections between the EEProm and DSP
2). Check the functionality of the EEProm
I don't know if this is the unit's problem but it's a place to start.
I have little to no electronic experience...6 Photos-

by edgarmg15Hi everyone
Iยดm trying to repair a TV Vizio E320-A0 that I found in the street
The symptoms are it doesn't respond with remote or buttons, the LED indicator is always off and also there is no image on the TV.
The power supply board works fine (I probed the terminals with my multimeter) but in the main board the EEPROM doesn't works correctly because the voltage on the pins doesn't match with the parameters of the datasheet.
So, Iยดm going to replace the EEPROM with a new one, but the problem is that my programmer (CH341a)... -
by acedogblastThis is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.
There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as... -
by 247itHi, I have a ThinkPad E15 G4 I am working on for fun, the PD chip is not talking to the charger, it's stuck at 5v, I have replaced the PD chip three times now (new chips) and always the same result, I have checked for shorts, correct voltages on the PD IC etc - 5v 3v, and the 1.6v on the cc lines, even replaced the USB C port protector IC and the charging port,
The PD IC has a EEPROM connected directly, it's the one in the image attached, I assume the PD chip will not start without some initial commands stored in the EEPROM, the PD IC never shows in device manager, i backed up the...-
