LG 60PZ750 Dim, Spotty Picture, No Audio

    Hello everyone!

I have an LG 60PZ750 with some sort of strange problem(s). It turns on OK, but the picture is dim and spotty; about 40% of the screen is black. Also, there's no audio. I can pull up menus and was able to scan for the local broadcast channels. Unplugging the main power cable to the ZSUS board has no effect on the picture or audio. Pressing the volume up/down buttons makes the blue LED flash at the power button, but there's no other effect. I can't see any volume level display on the screen, though it may be coming up in a section of the screen that is blacked out.

The VS is at 200 VDC, the VA at 55 VDC. The 5 V is reading 5.2 VDC. I am getting 200 V at both sides of the fuse on the ZSUS board.

Any ideas on where to go from here? Thanks!

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
      by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

LG55UB850V no picture or audio, just flashing LED's help please?
      by IAmOrion
Hi members, I came across this forum when searching a fault on my LG 55UB850V TV.
Rather than hi-jack another members post/thread I thought I should start my own even though it's an almost identical issue.

The thread I refer to can be found here:
      https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-s-help-please

My boards are the same, and my issue it the same. I have NO Picture and NO Sound. Nothing. When first turning on the TV at the...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
      by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

      Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

      First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
      by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

      Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Vizio D55x-g1 (55" 4K, no backlight, has Audio and picture)
      by WayOfTheRoad
Hello, everyone. A neighbor was throwing this TV away for "not turning on" so I asked for it and they gave it to me for free since Vizio gave them a new TV under warranty.

I'm pretty proficient with electronics in general but this is the first TV I've ever tried to fix. I strongly suspect bad LED lights but figured I'd post some info and see if those of you more experienced with TVs can confirm my suspicion before I move forward. Some photos and measurements below:

The power supply only has two outputs, one output cable going to the main board and the other...
