This TV can only be hardwired for internet connection (or there's a WiFi dongle I think). But anyway long story short, after I was done doing updates via ethernet, like a dumbass I forgot I had that cable connected, moved the TV, and yanked it right off the board.
I looked at the board and as far as I could tell, there was no damage but the RG45 connector outer piece had come apart, the pins were all still in place and it didn't seem to damage the board itself.
But now internet won't work. I've looked closely and can't see an issue. So I found another salvage main board and changed the connector out, but still nothing. (also tried a new ethernet cable from a different connection, although the original one still works on another device.)
I'm not going to spend much more time on this but I thought I'd ask if anyone had some ideas as to what to test?
Or even if there's a USB device that can plug in to hardwire instead of just WiFi? Looks the like the WiFi adapter has to plug into the ethernet port tho
