Sharp LC-70LE757U right side more dim

I have the LC-70LE757U, had horizontal rolling and flickering, after research and time, decided the driver tabs were the issue on the right side (looking at front). I removed all right side tabs (all 5) - removed the two right side tab boards and lower ribbon cable that was attached to the right and bottom driver tab boards. No more flickering or lines.

ISSUE: The right side of the screen is "darker" than the left, with the furthest right 1/8 or so of the screen being even "darker" yet.

The driver tab contact points on the LCD appear to be very clean. I have tried replacing the power board and the TCon board with no improvement.

    Please advise. Thanks in advance.

i kinda notice one side being slightly darker after removal of the tabs but not your extent. i think your supposed to keep the side board connected.

All the guides I've seen/read do not leave the board connected.

Really hoping someone may know where the issue is originating and/or how to fix it.

The TCON and SMPS boards are not the source of the issues.

If you still have this TV, can you post clear pictures of the back with an overall view of how the boards are connected and clear pictures of all the bond tabs that are remaining on the TV (left, right, bottom).

Do any of them show signs of corrosion? Did this problem start by itself or after cleaning the screen? Windex damage is common in what i've seen.

Sharp LC70LE747 Flickering - darkening gradually to the right side
              by SmartSarah
              Dear,

I can not pinpoint the following problem on my Sharp TV LC70LE747E.
While the left side of the screen is not affected at all the right side of the screen gradually fades to a kind of dark. I can best describe this darkness like a totally worn out CRT display or a gamma correction totally out of range. This darkness flickers like a flame, a dark one tough.
Sometimes when I restart the TV it disappears for a while.
The problem worsened over time the last few months.

I've replaced the t-con module without success. The problem remains.

6 Red Blinking lights (left side darker) on Sony KD-49XE8396
              by Watson306
              Hi,

I've got a Sony KD-49XE8396 TV that will switch on show the Sony logo then the Android logo and then switches off, and then blinks red 6 times.

I've read that this is the backlight, and during it showing the initial logos I can see that the left side is definitely darker.

I've also read that you can bypass the error to get it working but I'd prefer to fix it if at all possible. Any help would be appreciated.

              Many Thanks in advance.

70LE660U dark cloud or black screen with sound.
              by Rozp
              Hello Everyone,

This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.

I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area....

Magnum IA.100 Amplifier Switches on, No Output, Possible Input Side fault?
              by flibidy
I have here a Magnum IA.100 which belongs to my parents.

The unit powers on & when the relay kicks in, you get a pop from the speakers (this might sound weird but is usual behavior for this amp). However, you get nothing coming through it from any of the inputs & no pops and crackls from any of the controls.

Because of the sound from the speaker when the amp turns on I have assumed that the output section probably works but I could be wrong & I'm not sure how to test that side of things further.

Sharp TV 2 5 code. Possible bad side panel
              by Bdm634
              Please help

              SHARP LC-70LE857U

First it started with the tv working fine for about 20-30 minutes. Then it would start getting moving horizontal lines and extreme dimming on the one side. I did some research and it pointed me to a bad main board but also some people said bad power supply board. After the last test I did, the tv would no longer turn on and was giving the 2-5 code

So I found a good deal on a power board and it came in today. I replaced the board. No luck. Still 2-5 code.

Then I did some more research and found a test where I was...
