So I have a HannSpree HSG1064 monitor/tv. Pretty nice 100$ tv that was working great until a few days ago. It was manufactured in 2009, so I thought maybe shit caps? Looked online and it seemed like a probably cause. However, I opened it up and they seem to have ditched the shit caps and used Taicon, which is definitely a cut above the rest if we're talking most shit caps.
So none of the caps were bad, all were fine.
No heat damage from the circuit board by what I could see on the PSU, in fact the PSU seemed to be one of the best I've seen in a cheap TV.
Since the PSU seemed fine as it would turn on and the audio would continue to work, the video would just stop, I'm not sure where to look? I took off the mainboard and it was capped with "GJT" branded caps. All seemed to be fine.
What should I look at next?
