HP PL4260N Plasma TV help needed please

I have a 2006 HP PL4260N plasma TV with multiple issues. Initially the Y-Sus board blew, the standard pop, sound but no picture scenario. Not the first time for this TV. The last time I sent the board off and got back a working board and the TV worked for about 6 years. This time I didn't want to shell out $80 on a replacement with no guarantee so I got a STK795-821 and gave removing the IPM a shot. I used a Hakko 888, solder sucker and hot air to get out the old IPM, put in the new, and fired the TV up, no go. In looking at the newly installed board I noticed I did not seat the Vs FS2 fuse so I did something dumb and pushed it into place with the power on, I thought I had shut it off but I was wrong. There was a pop and the TV would not power up at that point. Removing first one then the other supplies to Y and Z boards did not allow the TV to power up. Removing both Sus Vs fuses allowed TV to power up and red power button to go to blue. I bought a “New” unused Y-board and was going to test to see if that would get the set to power up before getting a new Z-board. Unfortunately the “New” Y had a blown FS2 straight out of the wrapping and Vs was a dead short. The seller made good on the deal so no bad feelings there.

At this point I am seeking someone with Plasma TV knowledge to validate that I should continue on with attempting to repair this TV and help with guiding be down the path. I give thanks in advance for any feedback

I pulled the replacement IPM off the Y board and the only thing I found out of place was a short on the Ver1 to Ver2. All the other connection Vs to GND, Vg to GND, and Vs to Vs Out were all good, no shorts in either direction. Would the Ver1 to Ver2 short make the IPM usless? Are there other tests I should have done?

Replaced both Y and Z boards and TV works. On the working replacement boards I used a DMM in diode test mode to test Vs and V15 against all other pins. I found that if you are not seeing 1 or some low value, typically less than 2000, 7XX - 3XX as you switch leads back and forth from pos to neg then the boards are bad, just FYI.
