No, if you mean the "heartbeat monitor" LED on the T-CON, it doens't light up at all at any time, looks like the board it 100% dead (either by itself or due to lack of some power, I don't know what PS voltages it depends on)

Yeah, well I have the back off a 50c451 and with x y disconnected and ribbons also disconnected. I get a nice steady 1 sec heartbeat.

Even with all ribbons removed from the Logic Ctrl board but with main connected to power and the power connected to the logic board it still gives a steady 1 sec blink.

      How about posting some pictures.

And that guide i put up tells you the voltage and pins at the logic board. Have you looked at it?

If you mean the PDF you pointed to, yes! I downloaded it and saved it to have it handy later tonight if I have the chance to bring the TV to the work bench

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
              by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Samsung Plasma TV Power Supply Issue
              by lp20th
I have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
              by Nairolf
              Hello,

              I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
              1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
              2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
              3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
              by vincentedel
              Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...
