Panasonic TX-P42U30B with CN board TPNA5349AB

Can anyone please tell where I can get a Panasonic Part COZBZ0001812. The tiny 8 pin SMD has D86 93 NZ printed on the body (possibly 2 characters missing). Its a driver IC for a IGBT on a plasma scan board. Does it have a none Pansonic part (generic) ID?

I think the part you are looking for is a BD8693 IGBT driver that is fitted to Panasonic SC/SN boards.this would show a Panasonic part number of COZBZ001920. The other larger IGBT driver COZBZ001936 that are fitted to some boards would be a NJW4840 , Hope this is of help Flocko

Yes that looks right. I miss-typed the Panasonic number, it should of ended 1822 not 1812. Out with the heat gun now I can order replacement/s. Can you live fault-find on these boards...if you can keep them from shutting down....beyond static resistances checks?
      Thanks Flocko.

Please post with model and board numbers in the Tv repair forum, and search for more info on repairs, but also note that there are a lot of fake BD8693 ICs,only use ones that show the same markings as fitted by Panasonic (check photos if buying from eBay)

I think Q501 has gone U/S. The 47K emitter resistor has gone O/C. It's a B1HFPFA00001. The waveform on Q401/402 is all wrong. What is the replacement equivalent please?

TV is a Panasonic TX-P42U30B CN board is a TPNA5349AB. Thanks for your support...I am a new to this type of repair...

Q501 marked Y3 = CPH5524-TL-E (transistor array) these should be replaced with the IGBT driver IC501 (BD8693) as a pair. You will find full details of how to repair and test this and most other Panasonic SN/SC+SS boards by using the forum search.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
              by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

              After all of...

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
              • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
              • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

So I decided to sign up and I intend to participate actively by making available my knowledge and experience on the subject, I'm a new user but at the same time I'm old in the sense that I have 4 decades of experience in repairing and designing electronics but above all I'm a great passionate about the subject.

Having said that I come to the gist of my post on the forum as the title suggests.
