    Samsung UN55D6500VF Black line

    This TV was given to me and it seems to have some sort of issue which I cannot find the source of. There are two small black horizontal lines (about 1px each) that run the length of the screen. The line fades out towards the right hand side. Occasionally the lines will disappear. Lines are apparent on all inputs.

      I'm not sure if this set has side Tab Bonds....However this looks like a bad panel issue. May be repairable if we can see the internals. We may be able to do a 'By-pass' repair.

          hi guy my friend gives me this tv a 50tu8070u that has no picture at all, sound ok, backlights ok. i tought it was a bad panel, but the tv has many horizzontal lines green, i tried with the tape method but nothing change, only the green lines disappear but still no picture.           Hi guys

          I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
          I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

          never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
          then it started to show the ghosting white image.
          I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.

          Hi,
          when I received this TV, there was a faulty T-con (missing all voltages, only 12V OK), black screen, sound OK, backlight OK.. So I replaced the T-con and now it looks like this.. Thank you Very much for any hints, what I must to check or measure etc.. Have a nice day and sorry for my english 🙂...

          As stated I have about 4 or 5 black lines at the bottom and one about 2/3 of the way up the screen.
