Samsung LED Model UN55B6000VFXZA Issue, No Picture, Black Screen with Colored Lines

    Hello All,

Having some issues with my 55" Samsung LED, Model UN55B6000VFXZA. Turned it on one day and the screen stayed black and then some red and yellow horizontal lines slowly stated to show on parts of the screen. Each time I turn the TV off and back on again this happens. The Colored lines are sometimes in different locations and can be more intense with a little bit of blue as well.

Also want to note, I am unable to use remote or buttons on TV to access menu, setting, change inputs, etc., or at least unable to see them due to the screen. Also, once in a blue moon before all this happened the TV would turn off on its on. Never did it when watching the TV, just when it was idle for a while so not sure if it is a feature for the TV. Seemed random to me.

I have already tried replacing the T-Con board, Main board and Power board resulting in no change with the issue. Hoping someone has thoughts on what else it could be that I can try to replace.

I have experience with rebuilding computers, but not TV's. Seems to be an easy transition so far and willing to get my hands dirty, just need help with the right direction to take.

Thanks in advance for your expertise, thoughts, and comments. i will try to update the post with pictures if needed.

    Michael

Well through process of elimination only leaves panel problem.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

thanks for the tip dskall. Next questions.

Are there certain parts to the panel, or is it all one part to replace? Would you or anyone else reading know best place online I can get a replacement as my initial searches have turned up empty.

Looks like the part# for the panel is BN07-00702B, but when searching online, all websites says its LCD, but my TV is LED, not sure if there is a difference in the panel between the two?

Since you may have working Power, Main and T-CON Boards, and a good remote controller. Part out the TV and sell on-line, collect the money and buy anew TV would be my advice as replacing the Panel that size would need some lifting skills and knowledge to purchase the exact screen so that software on Main and T-CON boards are correct for that particular panel.

your TV IS a LED lit LCD panel. There are no "LED" TV's (OLED Yes). It is a "misnomer" by marketing / industry. A replacement is probably going to cost more than the set is worth.

            Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
            by jeyoung12
            Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

            Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
            by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

            Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
            by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

Samsung QE50Q60TAU - Horizontal screen lines
            by Runlinc
Hi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.

I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.

I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.

Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.

            Many thanks for your assistance

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
            by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...
