Well, now being cool, tv after 30 seconds reboots, and even being warmed up still reboots, so I don't get any difference heating or cooling with the hairdryer. I'll leave it rebooting to see if it begins to work.

I'll try it tomorrow with the hairdryer in cool mode but I don't understand it. Yesterday I'd been watching the champions league match after waiting some minutes to have the tv working perfectly, today I can't get it that way even waiting for hours I would say, holy crap.

That one has been already changed a month ago following this post in russian because I had those exact symptoms.

But now a month later this happened but I didn't find anything similar, and I tried disconnecting the sub board and the tv still reboots, as well as disconnecting the inverter or the T-con.

So I don't know what else to touch xD

    Quick update.

I replaced the last 1000uF 10V cap but the problem remains. I don't know what more to do than take it to a technician

I didn't know, well then I'll google that up and try to check or update the firmware, or reset it through the service menu maybe?

But I don't know because after several rebooting the tv works. Now tv takes too long to work though.

I'll arrange the shit I did first desoldering xD

It sucks because at first tv works always, so I have to wait for a couple of minutes to know whether the changes worked or not haha, but then it fails.

Another thing, my friend told me that the night that the tv began to fail, tv turned on by itself two times in the middle of the night until he plugged it out. Just if this info is valuable.

So, any ideas of what more to change? XD

Edit: From the dtv source I don't get any image, just the menus, but from scart source I get image but with the colors pumping until tv turns off.

the tv turning on, on its own, while in standby, could mean it was taking an update, and being unplugged has corrupted the firmware update ?

Well, I have another 1000uF 16V available, Which one would you try? XDDD The yellow or another on the board? xD

I don't have esr meter in circuit and my meter if I desolder them is up to 200u

No, it looks ok, seems like its bulged like the other in red, but both look ok, there are no caps apparently bad in the tv. And nope, I only changed the one in red and the brown cylindric next to it.

The one in yellow should leave it there right? Just to confirm.

And just curiosity, how do you know what to change or not? is there a repair service manual or something?

And another thing, is it risky for the tv to change the brown cap for another with less capacity or it would only affect to the funcionality? I'll try to look for the diagrams and check its value but i'm down for the change anyway hehe

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
    by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Acer Helios 500 (PH517-51) - unexpected reboots when laptop is warm (cold solder joint issue?)
    by Mirenia
    Hi everyone,

got an Acer Helios 500 Laptop (PH517-51) for diagnosing with a strange issue:

The laptop runs for a while (1-2 hours, sometimes less) and then suddenly shuts completely off, like someone pulled the power cord and restarts immediately after on its own.
If this happened once, then the laptop only runs for a few minutes until restart.
This happens regardless while staying in windows or uefi or in a linux environment.

At first I thought of a normal overheating issue, but as I monitored temps with HWInfo64, nothing seems very hot.

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
    by Nairolf
    Hello,

    I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
    1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
    2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
    3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
    by vincentedel
    Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...
