    Samsung HPS5053 Vertical Bars

I need some help. I have a Philips 50PF9631D/37, but the display is a Samsung, and from what I can determine, it's an HPS5053. I finally got a picture on the panel (as shown in the first photo). I checked the large ICs (based on what I'd learned on another thread - thanks Nick's TVs), so I replaced the Y main.
Now I get a better quality image (photo 2), but I have vertical 'spark-lies' on the left side, and three bad vertical bars on the right - one completely black. I thought I had a bad display panel - until I looked again at the original image. The first photo looks like the first three right-side lower buffer FPCs are disconnected (or bad), but nothing like in the second photo. I replaced the lower 'E' buffer, but got the same result. The second photo looks like it could be a bad panel. But why doesn't the black bar show up with the bad (original) Y main?

Question. What is your VA voltage running at vs your panel sticker?
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Thanks for responding. All of the voltages are spot-on. Panel readings (in parenthesis) vs actual - VA, (65) 65, VSCh (-70) -70, VSC (-190) -190, Vset (190) 190, VS (198) was 200, brought it down to 198. The photo shows what it was doing when I first got it. Now I have a picture, but the same bars on the right side.

        Panel failure not fixable IMO.

The black bar does not show up on the original image due to the fault of the y main however that section is all white with the reference voltages from the Y main going to the panel in proper perspective format that bar is now black however neither board will show an imge in that area so that tells me that the panel has gone bad.

My best guess based on your first picture is that some kind of voltage Spike hit the VA drivers on the panel shorting them. The reason the whole panel is not messed up is because some drivers fared well than others

That's what I was afraid of, but wanted someone with more knowledge about these than I have to confirm it. Anyone need any HPS5053 boards?
