    Vizio E500i-A0 Slight flicker

Purchased a Vizio E500i-A0, and was excited to bring it home and get it set up. Upon doing so, I noticed a slight flicker on the screen. Seems to be a backlight issue of some sort but I can't figure it out exactly. If I divided the screen into 5ths (horizontally, with 5/5 being the very top) this is in the 3/5 area, if that makes sense. It's also slightly darker in that area (when it isn't flickering). Currently I have the back case off the tv. Didn't notice any bad caps, so I figured someone here may be able to help. I tried to get a picture, but I couldn't get a good one.

Any and all help is appreciated!

And the LED strips are replaceable, correct?

Yes, but involves taking panel apart which runs risk of breaking panel.

You might want to just use it until it quits before you try a repair to backlights. Also run backlights down as much as possible to take load off LED's. Update your firmware.
