    Grundig XEPHIA 42 PW no image

    Grundig XEPHIA 42 PW 110-6605 chassis P7
    PSU TNPA3570
    Sub power R84-194R-5
    YSUS Board TNPA3543
    SS Board TNPA3544
    Main R82.190R-3
    Old plasma tv no image
    Standby led is turning to blue from red if i press a ke(menu) from front panel but no image
    IN PSU TNPA3570 There is 0volts in main cap C466 so no Vsus in connector P2

    The only voltage in all connecters is 14V in PIN 4 connecter P12
    Main cap 0v
    D404 coming 220v out 194V may be strange
    D403 no incoming voltage
    IC501 1 pin 4.5V

    So any idea

          Disconnect P2 and P11 on the PSU. Try a power up, measure Vsus and Vda. If these voltages are produced and stable then your PSU is good and your problem could be in the Y-SUS and/or X-SUS Bds. Are you hearing the relays click when trying to power up?

              After Disconnecting p2 and P11 theres is no Vda no Vsus
              im hearing relay click but in board Sub power R84-194R-5

                      hello everyone,

                      I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

                      The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

                      Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?

                      I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
                      Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

                      I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

                      Good day ladies and gentleman!

                      I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.

                      This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).

                      I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...
