    Panasonic TC-P42X5 , red led solid , no clicks , nothing seems to be working

    Panasonic TC-P42X5 , red led solid , no clicks , nothing seems to be working.
    after power surge this is all the tv would do. when I plug it in the led doesn't do anything till I push the power button. led goes solid, stays that way unless I unplug it again. thank you for any help you may have.

    any ideas at all?
    power button turns on the led on the front there is also a red light that turns on at the Ethernet connection. but I get nothing else. please help

              Fixed one of them today, common issue on the Psu is 5vstby Ic failing intermittently. However I would say your is a bga solder issue on the GPU (big unheatsunk chip) give it a reflow see if it works.
