Yeah, looks like they're playing favorites too, no matter tho, helping the owner isn't why I'm here.Leave a comment:

Diah, if you read this, I put smdflea's response here, he surmises that 4 ? marks may have triggered the spam filter, I can say that I have seen less spam since the overhaul, was wondering if I would ever find anything good about it, lol:

It has happened at posts 4 and 5 in this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ew#post3308232 .There are 4 question marks together, that must be what triggered it
Its also happened to lotas in one of his posts, but i can`t find the exact one now.It has happened to other members as well.

Try:
1. Format a stick with fat32
2. Put a folder called profile on the stick
3. Unzip and put the 3 files in the folder.
4. You turn on the TV
5. Insert the USB stick
6. Type MENU 4725 and go to USB Operations
7. Press OK on the remote control
9. Wait 5 seconds and remove the stick

sorry that i wrote so unclear. i rewritted it, cause i didnt start at all. I did it like it was written in Post 9# with the 3 attached documents - with while plugging electric holding the "ok button" and at least it started again and showed the menu ( without satellite) - maybe i have the wrong data? sorry i m really not so good in TV or computing...Attached FilesLeave a comment:

If you haven't rewritten the software, try a factory reset first. MENU 4725, Diagnostic, Factory reset, OK.Leave a comment:

It is ridiculous, who REDESIGNS a site and just makes it worse in every way? That is what seems to have happened.Leave a comment:

hi Yokoono, thanks i did that - here the documents. If I understood the information in the Menu right - the "Satellite Support" is "No" - before I crashed and rebooted the TV it worked with satellite. thanks for you help in advance.

Re: Toshiba 40L1333DB - Standby light (LED) is blinking red & green with 0.5s interva
Hi guys I know I'm a little late to this thread but seems this is the best place to resolve my issue, I'm having the exact problem as a few people on here, light flashes red and green rapidly but never comes on, I've read through all the instructions, got the firmware, formatted the flash drive although it's only a little 4gb flash and followed the instructions to change the 'To' and 'From' text in the info file, but now when I hold 'ok' and turn the TV on I just get no lights whatsoever coming on....
I'm almost positive it's an issue with me not exactly understanding what I need to replace in the text file, I tried a few different options but if someone could explain or even screenshot exactly what I need to edit in the text file I think my problem would be fixed, because if it turn the TV back off again at the wall and start up without holding 'ok' it goes back to flashing again, I assume the text file is like a command for the TV but I think I've inserted the text the wrong way, it's maybe something really easy to fix, hopefully anyway,
Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Re: Toshiba 40L1333DB - Standby light (LED) is blinking red & green with 0.5s interva
Dear all,
This is just a big THANK YOU for the awesome info here. I just fixed a Toshiba 40L1343DG that got bricked after trying to update the firmware to the 3.6.3c version (flashing red/green led). I did the procedure exactly as said here and it worked perfectly. I can confirm that everything seems fine, already tuned all the channels and image/sound seems fine for now.
Thanks and all the best,
D.Leave a comment:

by naddaw000Hello, I am trying to bring back to life my Toshiba 55U7863DG, which has never been the most reliable device - keep on annoying me with its slowness and some random start-up/shutdown issues requiring to unplug the AC. But yesterday it finally said goodbye and decided to not turn on again. Green light is blinking, I've seen this behaviour before and thought that these are some temporary whims again, but unfortunately not this time.
I have checked that my TV is build based on the 17MB130S board, which seems to be quite popular and easy to buy as a used one. Still I would like to ask...1 Photo -
