Ok took a trip to maplins and got a .06w 10k resistor.

Fitted it to pin 44 and put the set back together. The leds did nothing at all :-(

So I stripped her down to remove the resistor ready to clean things up for my new ic that I've ordered from China (will be here some time 2070 lol) and I broke the leg off the ic. Bugger but still not a problem as the pad was untouched as I'd dried the pin off.

HI.
I'm with same problem. the mosfets are so hot and i replaced them but the symptom is the same.
i've disassembled panel to see led strip and they look fine to me.
Have you replaced that IC AS3693B? The problem has been solved?
