    Sony KDL52W5150 Lines

    I have posted this before and you said pics might help. The up and down lines will leave after warm up when you turn off and on and it will stay on unit you turn off and let cool down. The line across the top left corner never leaves goes almost half way across. Thought might be cap in power supply but changed the power supply didn't help. Sure hope it not the panel I may just watch it this way and never turn it off. Will try and post pics.

          First. it has no picture at all. i solved it by covering the ckv lines using tape to to block the connections

          Second. now has picture but with vertical lines that follow the image. tcon board ic overheating

          tried blocking LC lines too, but same results



          is it lcd panel issue or tcon board issue?...

          Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.           Hello again everyone,

          This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

          I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...

          5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening.           Hello,

          i order a t-con because i had bad colors on my SONY KDL-40V3000 :




          With the new t-con the color are good but there are vertical lines on all the screen :




          I've tried the old t-con and it returned to the initial issue (bad colors but no vertical lines)

          Is there a way to fix the vertical lines on the new t-con ?
