Purchased this cheap because it had a power on /off issue slash clicking / no power. I've read other posts to similar models of this and will appreciate greatly any help. I have an OHM meter and just haven't used it much on circuit boards.

Re: 2007 Phillips 50PFP5332D/37
I don't see any bulging of caps.
I am going to spend $$ (maybe even $$$) to replace any and all boards; I can follow instructions but some tech terms might be unknown. tyComment

Re: 2007 Phillips 50PFP5332D/37
Disconnect the Ymain, does it still click ? If so what does Vs do ? You need to test voltages first. Alot of work to be done on this set after first repair. You need to recap the Ymain (3* 680uf caps), Xmain (1* 680uf 25v cap) and power supply (all samwha Wl and Wb series caps. Then heatsink the buffer Ics, tighten all screws on the Ymain transistors, resolder all joints on the power supply, possibly add a fan to the Ymain (as Ive done, show in image) then adjust sustain voltages to keep the panel looking good, all after the power supply repair.
Dont give up, these are fucking solid Tv's when working and can last many a year. Re: 2007 Phillips 50PFP5332D/37
Okay: new development. The previous owner or other must have pushed so hard to try and get the HDMI plugged in that both plugs were forced away from the circuit board. The menu and other display things menu settings and such appear on screen, no image problem. When plugged the TV in the two tiny green lights on the tuner board if that's what it's called lit up there was one or two clicks and it shut off. I unplugged it, and plugged it back in again and no worries after that 2 lights on tuner board stayed lit and then I noticed the damage to the HDMI input. I'm looking to replace this board and do you think I should go ahead and replace the power supply board as well? Considering I paid $10 for this unit, it's not an exorbitant expense when the end result would be a perfectly working television.Comment

Ok, I bought both the main and power boards. Is there anything I need to do with them during installation, or are they plug-n-play?Comment

by GRFI have researched for what seems forever, apparently not in the right places, for the root cause of the issue shown below. Most screen issues I have found have been half screen top or bottom goes black, not what I am showing.
The display is new, yes old tech but was sold and had a screen issue on set up. From what I have found the boards have different names depending on the manufacturer.
Just looking for thoughts on what would cause the issue shown. It wont be getting put back together, just trying to save what I can from it.
Thanks in advance.... -
by tony359Good day all,
I got a 2007 MacBook from a friend. The fan was not working so it was overheating.
Once the fan was swapped, I installed an OS and it worked fine.
The board had quite a few corroded spots so I removed it, touched those spots with a soldering iron, washed the board in PCB cleaning fluid (I've done that many times), rinsed it with distilled water, dried it etc.
Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. It does turn on, fan spins, power LED turns on. But no picture.
If I see that right, I have missed VCORE on L7100 (page 59).... -

by learnmoreHello Community,
Would welcome any help on getting a service manaula for the above model (Phillips 75PUS6754/12) TV or anything similar.
Picture intermittently works fine for a day or a minuite then goes off, but backlights appear to remain on.
I thinking troubleshooting TV or using a tape method on the panel but would like some guidance on tracing the signals accurately rather than a trail and error.
Thanks in advance,
