Insignia NS-42PDP (LG 42X3) - Green Screen Problem

Hey guys I'm having trouble with this old tv I have in my sons room. I've had it since new in 2006. A few years ago the ZSUS board went bad and I replaced it. Even before the screen had the some red and green sparklies here and there. They seemed to mostly go away after the TV was on for awhile. This is not my main concern though.

Over the past month the screen would randomly get washed out and have a lot of green. When the screen is normally black it would appear totally bright green. It seemed sometimes it would go back to normal and other times we'd have to let it cool down then it might for for a bit again. Now it's staying like this all the time. I've attached pics.

I checked VS and VA voltage and VSC and -Vy. They were all close. I adjusted them around a bit with no change so I left them at spec. All the capacitors look ok, none are swelled or bulging. Also doesn't matter what input is used.

Any help would be appriciated, thanks.

    LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
    by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

    Then each time...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
    by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
    by smic717394
    Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

    Sony KDL-55EX500 solid green screen
    by Nopy
I have a Sony KDL-55EX500 which shows a solid green screen and I haven't been able to diagnose the problem. I was able to find a repair manual online and read a few forums on tv repair which pointed me towards it possibly being an issue with the power board or T-con board. Bad electrolytic capacitors seemed to be a common theme so I tried replacing all of the ones on on the power board, but that didn't fix it.

My next step was disconnecting all of the cables and reconnecting them. That helped a bit, showing a normal screen most of the time, but still switches back to solid green...
