    50PC1D Flashing Image Thread/Repair Video

Getting a Lg 50PC1D with a flashing screen and no image at all. The panel tried to sustain but somethings causing it to shutdown. From what I read common issue is a shorted ERC Imp module which blows some mosfets on the buffer boards.

I will be diagnosing it shortly and will be doing a video of the final repair and what I find. In the mean time any suggestions are appreciated.

I've seen several in this state myself. It's what happens when the IPM partially fails rather than a catastrophic failure that results in a blown fuse on the YSUS as well. End result though is the same -- IPM or total board replacement.

Right heres what I have found so far, will diagnose further tomorrow Im back at college now so the Tv messing time is limited especially today. So far I have found:

Q101 & Q103 on the lower buffer are both shorted however the Ysus is still not working even with that buffer out, it is building the Setup ramp then collapsing it meaning the Ysus is faulty on going into overload other voltages act the same way.

On the Ysus I found -Vy to be totally dead the transistor mounted on HS3 has low ohms across which is abnormal, this is for -Vy rail as well. The part number is W9NK70Z I will remove it tomorrow and test.

The power IPM's from what I have tested so far are testing perfect.

The Psu also has several badcaps on it, of you have this set replace any Samwha WB and WL caps on the power supply these are known to fail and cause issues. I will be doing this for this power supply.

      I will update tomorrow.

            Hello Community!

            CASE DETAILS

Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

HP OMEN 16-C0114NW – no image after replacing CPU Ryzen 7 5800H with 5 5600H and flashing BIOS
            by Focus2005
            Hello everyone.

I have another HP OMEN 16-C0114NW laptop with serial number 5CD1501LJX. The original problem was as follows. The laptop could not load Windows and every time it threw a bluescreen - y - most often WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. The processor that was originally in it was AMD RYZEN 7 5800H MOBILE PROCESSOR - 100-000000295. I decided to replace it with a fully functional, used AMD RYZEN 5 5600H MOBILE PROCESSOR - 100-000000296, which I got from a donor board, on which it worked 100%. After soldering the processor, I also uploaded a new, fresh BIOS to it with the UBT2 program...

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
            by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Hey guys, I have this Video Projector that turns on, takes a bit to give some image, and when it does it displays a weird static image, and has no reaction to on-device buttons or remote whatsoever, even to turn off, only unplugging from the outlet.
