    Replacement mosfet for SBR10U100CT

As in title, is there a replacement? ebay.co.uk shows nothing. Anything locally, UK?

It's not a MOSFET. The SBR10u100 is a fast switching diode on some super barrier tech that has a rating of 100V 10A. There are tons yof other devices you can replace it with. Matter effect Digikey has over 300 of those in stock.

Thanks for that. Do they come under different names?

You need to compare the specifications. Voltage and current ratings and also switching speeds.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Look for another 100V, 10A fast switching, Schottky diode array. The PSU will work to 99% the same. You can't use any "standard diodes" they are too slow.

The super barrier is just a more "efficient" diode. Up to you what you change it to.
As I already said, Digikey has the SBR10U100 in stock. Just go to their website, put SBR10U100 in their search and it will lead you right to it.

Stps20s100cfp will work but 20amp rated.

                Dual mosfet replacement help
                by DoOm86
                Hello.
                I have a notebook with a shorted mosfet, it's a E6930 GA8125.
It seems to be a 30V dual asymmetric N-channel AlphaMos.
Luckily the notebook is working, so I just need to find a good replacement for this mosfet.

And here is where I need help!
It's the first time I have to replace this kind of mosfet, I checked on mouse and I found this: (mouser No) = 512-FDPC5030SG.
I need your help to be sure is a good replacement or there is another with better compatibility, since I can't find the same exact (just from China).
                Thanks!...

Philips 58PUS7805/12 showed no picture; after T-Con replacement, shows halo
                by Rauni
Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

Read also that we should test what happens if we...

How do you test MOSFET in laptops ?
                by Jane
I tried to use this method:

                Testing an N-channel MOSFET:

Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.

Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the
