I recently put a used SC board in a Sanyo DP50710 and got it to turn on where it would not previously. I pulled up two sample pictures that the set has factory installed and the pictures were not sharp and the color was not right. (See attached pics) I am very novice with this and could use any help in determining what the problem might be and how to go about fixing it. Thanks in advance.

by silikon77Hi!
Got an 70 inch Philips tv model 70pus7855/12 from scraps and I decidet to give it a go. I'm an enthusiast but no porfessional in the electronics.
Found some advices watching youtube nad came up with this:
It came with no picture, after diagnosing it I found out that the right side of the T.con board was faulty.
I taped down the clock signals and I got a picture but the left side of the panel has less pronounced colours. Only the right 3rd side of the panel has good colors.
See attached picture.
I tried a few combinations to block individual clock...1 Photo01-02-2025, 02:26 PM -
by valvashonThe 55" LG has been in the basement for a few months without being used. Turned it on yesterday, set came on as it should and showed a complete screen for about 5 seconds (was on a broadcast channel but no antenna was connected), then the screen went mostly dark with about 1/3 of the screen on the right lighting up with brighter lines in that lit part (sorry, no pictures of that). Power LED was cycling too, preventing the TV from fully powering up.
Pulled the back off, all boards looked OK. Pulled the LED connector, turned the set on to see if it would power up but I don't belive it... -
by cj_rehaHey all
I've been working on a 1984 Sanyo 27" color TV which had a smattering of bad caps in the video switching circuit. I found this oddball little 1uF 25V cap which looks to me like an early polymer, but I can't find concrete info proving it. I know Sanyo was a big player in early polymer cap development and this is the time period where they were just getting on the market, so I'm wondering if anyone has crusty old datasheets that could help identify it and determine if my suspicions are right? It has the same epoxy end seal and font/formatting as some old stock Os-Cons I've got laying...

by kcaHello all ~
Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped... - Loading...
