Sanyo dp55441 Mainboard replacement not working

I have a Sanyo dp55441 tv that got hit by lightning. Followed the instructions on this site and determined that the main board was bad (menu screen would display but all sources would say "no signal") The main board was "431C4169L02" I purchased "431C4169L01". I placed purchased board in tv and it will display hdmi source, but the picture is bad. It is very pixilated. you cannot read words even on the menu screen. It will play audio from the source but bad image/video. The "bad board" would show a perfect picture in the menu screen, but would not display any sources. Could this be a firmware issue? if so where can I find the correct firmware for this mainboard? Please Help! Thanks in advance for any help!

Do you know if the board was set up to run the panel in your set. If you go into service mode and check what panel has been selected.
I don't know how you enter service mode but a search of the forum will probably have the answer.

I would think same. So far just looking at Shopjimmy,

        Panel Sticker Number: T546HW01 V.1
        Panel Manufacturer: AU Optronics

        Sanyo CL461C4169L02 (431C4169L02) Main Board for P55441-01
        Panel Sticker Number: LC550WUD-SCA1
        Panel Manufacturer: LG Display

        Sanyo 431C5469L02 Main Board for DP55441 P55441-03

Can you confirm the Panel details of your set normally found on a sticker inside the set.

Re: Sanyo dp55441 Mainboard replacement not working

Thanks for the replies! I went in to factory mode and did a nvram reset and a source calibration but no change. It still says ng.

I can put original main board in and picture looks just fine. Just says "no signal" when each source is selected. When newly purchased board is out in it is very bad picture (in legible) but will display a sources picture.

              Please help!

Sharp CC-60LE640U - after mainboard replacement, backlite turns on -- but cannot update firmware / see menu
                  by AustinComputerDoctor
                  Hello,

I am looking / wondering if anyone knows where a good firmware download link is for a LC-60LE640U, the sharp support sight says the screen is archived but offers no links.

                  I see backlite is active,

but I cannot get the screen to return back to menus , etc

This is all after replacing the mainboard...

                  any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dell Latitude 7420 - Touchscreen not working since Mainboard replacement
                  by Mirenia
                  Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

                  AOC AG493UCX 49-inch monitor - Firmware request
                  by wattage
                  Hello Badcaps Community,

I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.

The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...

Change name on tv after mainboard replacement
                  by Ihandyrepair
                  HI guys

                  just quick question,
                  I just fixed a dead Sony 55x800h, I replaced with a 65x800h board
                  now works everything seems ok
except that after factory reset, it will show 65x800h on the name,
                  screen is 55 inch now

I am guessing the size of the tv is programmed on the main board right?
I could just change the name only

or any way to flash the chip to make it to be a 55x800h instead?

                  thanks...
