Power supply no work, tv dead

Hi, I has a TV that has power supply 17IPS19-4 and the TV no led power, only the power supply has a noise, the small square yellow coil from the first pic has a noise (on the first pic, right-medium side).

All de diodes are OK, with the tester in direct measure has about 240 measure and indirect test infinite.

The capacitors has their correspondient voltage (12 volts and 24 volts) and I don´t know how to continue procced.

The burned part on the first pic is for heat solder, no component burned.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks!!

So you have 12v in the output capacitors ?

Hi, yes, all the capacitors has voltaje, some 12 volts and some 24 volts.

      It´s very strange...

The Psu is fine then the fault is on the mb, guessing 17mb82 or 95 ? Also the part thats caused the hotspot check it for S/C with your meter just to make sure its ok.

Hi, it´s 17MB82-1A but I has a question, If I disconnect the power cable from PSU to mainboard, the PSU still noising... Is it right?

Lol yeah them Psus make a horrid noise when they work, the main Cpu on the mb is dead its because Vestel didnt heatsink it properly. You need a new motherboard for the exact Tv with VES315WND? When you get a new board you should add a heatsink to the cpu with a good heatsink and thermal silicon.

Hi, then my mainboard is dead and the PSU is OK?

Can I change only the CPU of the mainboard?

I diassembled the main board and has a thermal rubber from solder side to the screen plate.

Yes the Psu is fine, it only generates 12v and 24v matey, the Mb is dead. You can change it but there might be more wrong with it very hard to fix they are tbh.

Also yes the rubber pad does cool the Cpu but its rubbish and Cpu gets very hot and overheats in time so best to also add a heatsink to the board too like this:

Hi, I suppose that PSU don´t generate 3v3. In the motherboard I has a (i suppose) a FET marked as U21 where in a pin has 5 volts and in output has 3V3 but but but this voltaje don´t arrives to MT5820.

I read continuity with multimeter and from ground to 3V3 line I has only 1 ohm... Possibly shortcut in 3V3 line. I lift the two 3V3 (power IC) legs from MT5820 to check if the shortcut comes from this IC but no, the IC is not in short cut... I think the trouble can be another component that prevent to 3V3 arrive to all components such as MT5820, serial flashs, etc...

Any idea? Anyone has this board and can check if resistance from ground to 3V3 line are about 1 ohm?

                    Thanks!!

Forget the previous message, this is the scheme and has a U49 IC that is the one that provides 3V3. In the input has 5 volts but no output.

Re: Power supply no work, tv dead

Yes they do have that sorry however its only turned on when the Mb is, the Mb has its own switching sections for 3.3v and then sends back to the Psu to turn that section on which is for the Led drive circuit not for the mb.

Also it shows short due to the resistor network has low ohms between the pins this is normal and just to confirm I have the same Pcb here fully working and its the same. So the Psu is deffo ok.
