    TC-P54S1 7 blink

Hi everybody, I picked up a P54S1 and has the usual blown up SC board # TNPA 4844. The buffers check ok which I was really happy for that.

So far this is what I found
    Q661-rjp6065
    Q660-rjk6026
    Q621,622,623-rjp3034
    Q402,403,404-2pg011

    there was also
    Q422,423,424- 30g123 which I had
    D865 which I had
    IC464,465 which I had
R402 was open which I had

I am checking all the other items, but I want to get the above items in circuit.

My question is, are there any substitutes for the top items on my list

I can get the parts from individual sellers but I have a lot of parts from other repairs.

Also there are sellers with kits but of course they don't say whats included

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: TC-P54S1 7 blink

I just ordered the parts from UT-Source. I will report after all parts replaced and hopefully have a success story.

You need to look up the datasheet from those igbts to see if they are the same. Maybe search for "replacement part".

Sometimes there are upgrade parts that can take higher voltages
I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

Thanks, I decided to just go ahead with the same parts. I didn't have enough of any if there were some equivalents.

So I got everything in and ended up 6 blinks, nothing blowing up again, just 6 blinks.

So I was reading some posts from tw2005 about fakes and decided to remove some of the igbt's and ck them out of circuit.

The rjp3034'S all had different readings by quite a bit and they would change when turning them on. The ones I originally removed were not shorted, but just replaced them in case of stress put on them.

I put those back in and it fired up. I was kinda standing back waiting for the firecracker, but its been running for 5 hours and all looks good.

I think I will try another supplier instead of UT Source or I will be sure to check them before putting them in from now on.

I have a 58vt25 with same situation so I removed the DG502LW"s and same thing. Bad readings. Supplied by UT Source !!! I ordered some new ones from US and will report back on that one when its fixed.

The readings on the DG502lw was starting at 1.2 meg and next turn on was179k and the next was .562 meg. I thought it was my meter so I checked some others I had and the readings were consistent every time.

Sucks to spend a lot of time on a board assuming the parts are good that you put only to find them to be bad. As tw2005 said, the more of these you do, the more you learn. Thanks everybody!!!

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
            by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Un50cu7000 2 blink oddity *partially solved
            by EazyBone
I write this to maybe help another with this TV.

So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.

The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.

Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01 Schematic and Parts List
            by Mark D
The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

panasonic TX-P50V10E 6 blink led problem
            by Vebririon
            Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

            SVOD4 PCB pictures + parts
            by 2elw
Hey, I find it very absurd that the SVOD4 costs so much and has zero documentation. I had no other choice than to buy it to unlock ECs, if there was any documentation or firmware avalible I could've made it or something simmilar. Anyways here are some of the most important parts:

STM32H723VGT6 MCU - It's a microcontroller by STMicroelectronics and its the whole brain of the SVOD4. It has flash memory for the firmware which can be updated by the SVOD4 program. Its also powered by the AMS117 which converts 5v into 3.3V. 7€ on AliExpress.

            GW1N-UV9UG169C6/I5 FPGA - Its a...
