    LG Plasma 60PV250

I don't have this set but a friend has asked me what I thought this could be in the photo. (Pinks areas)

I'm thinking ZSUS, but looking for opinions as it's hard to be sure since I can't check this out.

are you talking from your own experience?

I guess since the TV is still running and the picture so,so it's not blown or shorted transistors, is that a safe assumption.

I did have a quick read of some other threads and sounds like bad coils or shorted out seems to be the 2 common ones.

Ok I have one of these with this problem too. Only its so bad that it goes totally black in some parts.
IM thinking Z sus not charging the panel properly?
It works fine when it starts up and then gradually goes this way as it warms up.
About a year ago this tv had the usual fault, with the bad solder joints on the inductors and it shorted out the 6 mosfets that work off that area of the board, so I repaired that by changing out all six. Worked great for 12 months. Then this problem came along. It seems sort of different.
Checked the inductors they are still great. Mosfets are ok, however I am thinking, Do I have to actually remove at least 4 to accurately determine their condition? (as they are connected in parallel)
Or is it a case of, if they are not shorted...they are working fine?
And if anyone knows, what voltage is expected at the output to the panel from this card?
and which part controls this section of the tv, and which part could be operating incorrectly as it warms up, causing this voltage to drop?
I have not yet taken out the mosfets and not yet measured the output voltage as I want some other technicians here who may be familiar with this to put in their two cents worth. Really value other peoples knowledge and opinion a lot.
I know you cant get this board anymore, so I am hoping I can save it or I will have to bin the whole tv. (yet another one!)
pics attached showing the fault after the tv has warmed up.
I also changed all the caps on the z sus board and the power supply board, except the large high voltage caps (which usually are ok in my experience)
all the small or low voltage caps were changed. Nothing changed in its operation after that was done.

LG Plasma ZSUS Flashing Screen, No Booting! - 50PB690V
          by reessi
Replaced Zsus beginning of year as most transistors were short stopping tv powering up.

Now screen flashes on off continually and ZSUS ticks. Looking like replacement maybe faulty or could something else cause it to shut down.

If I remove both tabs from ZSUS to screen but keep all other connectors to ZSUS on then TV boots properly but screen very dark without ZSUS output, no ticking from ZSUS. So it only shuts down when under load from screen.

If it is ZSUS then how to fault find, I already looked for shorts. No transistors shorted or caps and its...

plasma TV Lg 42w451 - why is the zsus igbts damaged when the ysus is plugged?
          by Salvatore057
          Hi all,
I am trying to fix my plasma TV which is not powering on due to damaged IGBTs. I have changed two igbts and 2 IC drivers on the zsus and also two igbts on the ysus.
Now everytime I plugged the ZSUS and the YSUS boards to the power board, the two 30f124 IGBT on the ZSUS are damaged and the TV stays in standby mode. When I plug the ZSUS board alone the TV turns ON but I do not see pictures. When I plug the ZSUS board without the two 30f124 IGBTs and the YSUS board, the TV powers on with a picture.
I am lost, should I change the YSUS board? Is the YSUS board damaging...

          Samsung PS51E550 Plasma TV
          by ArMaaN376
          Hello,
I am having Samsung PS51E550 Plasma TV. While the TV was working, a crackling sound heard & video went off with audio still ON. After switching it off & ON, the red LED on TV blinks six times & then off.
Opened TV cover & observed foll
          a) Green LED on the small PCB blinks at @5-6sec ON & off for 3-4 secs. Red LED on logic board ON
b)Vs & Va on power supply board raises momentarily to 209v & 58v resp & then drops.
          c) Cold test on Y-main board shows all 3 pins of FGPF4536 IGBT short to Grnd.
How to confirm Y -Buffer board...
