RCA LED50B45RQ question on getting to the LED strips

I'm working on an RCA LED50B45RQ and I need to get into where the LED strips are. My problem is, I'm working alone on it, so, how hard is it to get this thing torn down to get into the LED strips area? My work station is a king sized bed. I know it's not an ideal work station, but it works for the large screen TV's. I mentioned that I am working alone because I read where it helps to have two people to get the glass screen off safely. I'm just wondering if it can be accomplished by myself on this work station? I'd appreciate any help you might have on this.

    Thanks,
    DesertRat

Basically pull all screws, lift the plastic bezel off the front. Then there probably is another retainer that holds down the screen. Take that off. Then start peeling back layers till you get down to the strips.

Just wear gloves like leather or disposable to prevent dirt and finger oil getting on the sheets.

Thanks Ozzy! I can see that it's pretty straightforward, just use care when handling the innards.

Or you can lay it face down and pull the back off the panel if you're worried about the panel itself.

Lay it face down, its much easier to pull the back off of the front, and make sure you tape the board connected to the screen down so that those flux connections dont get pulled loose (already got the T-Shirt from that on my first RCA).

And thanks for the extra tip about taping them down.

On a side note, I grew up not far from Paris Tx. in a little town called Ladonia. I used to go to the drive-in in Paris from time to time. Glad to meet you!

Thank you all for your help, it looks like I have my weekend plans.
