Panasonic TH50pz85U screen flicker after power supply repair

I just recently did the Norcal175 power supply repair on MC201 and MC301 boards. Once i fired the TV back on it turns on then every 3 seconds the screen goes black then come back on then goes black again. I turned the TV on and off a couple times and now the screen seems to be working fine. Any idea why this happened?
    Thanks

paying attention to the proximity of the P board(i.e. don't fry yourself) There's a red cluster of cabling that goes from the A - board to the D-board behind.

    LVDS cale.

Give that a gentle wiggle and see if the problem replicates.

That style of connector is notorious for being problematic. If it is try reseating a few time then I tape the connector in position at both ends so it does not move.

So after leaving the TV on for a few minutes, less than 10min. It shut off and gave me 4 blinks. I unplugged the TV turned back on and I get the 10 blinks again! Please help.
      Thanks!

I'm curious because I may have the same problem with my Samsung PN42B430P2D. The TV turns on, but it flickers and there's this box of different coloured pixels that change colour. What's going on?

Today I found Fuse F301 blown. I am 99% sure this was not blown before reassembling the power supply board. I will replace it but what would have caused it to blow?

Could I have damaged the IC's I just replaced on the power supply?

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
              by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
              by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
              by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

              After all of...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
              by Alicat
              Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

              Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...
