VIZIO E470i-A0 - Where Does This Part Go?

I tore down a Vizio E470i-A0 to replace two LEDs about a month ago. When I did the tear down, I figured on an hour or two to get the LEDs replaced and reassemble the unit. I found out the I didn't have the correct LED, so I ordered some from Digikey (I didn't do the proper research and they were not correct). A week later, I finally found that Ali Express had what I needed, so I ordered the correct LEDs from a Chinese vendor.

The correct LEDs arrived and were used to repair the set. But now, a month has gone by. My lack of proper documentation on what went where has come to bite me in the rear-end.

I have this part left over. I can't find any proper place where it could go. I believe it came from the "remove the panel supports" stage of disassembly, but that is as far as I can get.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Found out where it goes. Don't know why it is there, it doesn't really do anything.

It goes over the IR and onlight board in the lower left hand corner when looking at the back of the unit.

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
        by Pipolups
        Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

        Vizio M65-C1
        by mrtek
        Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Vizio M65Q7-H1 Red Vertical Strips fixed by tape blocking LC1 signal to half of the panel
        by howardc64
        Failure Symptom

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.

        Where is the short?

Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.

Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but...
