    LN40A550P3F Power cycling

Hey all long time i have been dealing with a ton of family issues the last couple months. Finally getting back into the groove. So I have a customer's TV here with the common power cycling on and off. The TV will come out perfect in the picture will be perfect for about 15 seconds and then it was shut down and restart. I already took the liberty of replacing c102 and c131. Also the two voltage regulators ic101 and the one next to it. It is still power cycling. I also reset the eeprom to factory light shorting pin 5 & 6 and now it comes up to the welcome to your TV with a snowy image however it still power cycling. What I have noticed is the buttons on the side or unresponsive. However if I hit the button immediately I noticed that it will respond but then the buttons lock up so if I'm holding down the volume button while the power is coming on it will show the volume bar if I hold down the menu button it will show the menu but after about 2 seconds the buttons lock up. Any ideas?

By the way I already tried jumping PS on to 5 volts and the power supply is fine. This is definitely a main board issue period no swollen caps and even tested for ESR on the power supply caps that are known issues

    Hello freakaftr8,
I notice on some threads the suggestion to remove the IR/side button connector and see if that resolves the looping and to also check the supply voltages on the IR board.
