    TC-P58S2 10 Blinks

Have looked around a little and see 7 and 1 blink posts but I have not seen a 10 blink post. Can someone give me some information? I turn the TV on with the power button on the side of the TV on the main board and it gives me 10 blinks - I tested some power and did not get power to the ysus. Really all ive tested so far. Does anyone know what the 10 blink code means?

    Thanks in advance,
    Z

Can you post clear shots of the back of the TV so we could see the boards lay out. Also do you know how to self-test the PWR board? We would need clear shots of the PWR board with the jack to the Main board visible enough to read each pin label.

Will get some when I get to the house, Thanks. I do not know how to do a power board self test, but I have a multimeter and have worked on TV's for 10 years so I can learn

You would also need a pair of 120Vac 100W light bulbs connected in series.

            Re: TC-P58S2 10 Blinks

10 blinks can be any board SC,A,SD,SS,SU,P,K.

Shorted SC is a common one for 10 & 4 blink.

probably a few ways to skin this cat but a favourite of mine is to isolate all the boards except P & A.

If you disconnect, SC2,SS11,P35,3 white ribbons at the A-board, turn it on and see if it 10 blinks or turns on and stays on. Only run it for less than 30 secs if left it could shutdown as 4 blink.

Don't reconnect sc2,ss11 p35 straight after as there'll be residual voltage. either check first or leave for 5-10mins.

If it does not error then the 10 blink is not P or A and I would check the SC board for shorts or low ohms at SC2 or check Q661 as generally if the SC has failed that will be shorted.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

              (Another) 7 BLINK TC-P60VT60 Panasonic - NEWBIE

Greetings from SoCal I am new to this forum but not new to forum world. I come from Automotive end of side which is my main passion in life. Give the automotive nature, I love fixing and restoring things and I have in the past fixed many simple electronics, soldering, etc.. but this is a bit more involved so I found this forum, and I am very glad I did.

I picked up a Panasonic TC-P60VT60 with the 7 BLINK error.
Upon removing the back plate I found spider webs, dead spiders, and an amazing amount of dust. I did my best to clean the surface of the boards with a portable vacuum...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
              by Hakuu
              Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

              More Details

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

Stubborn GIGABYTE B365M AORUS ELITE - main PCIe x16 GPU port working only in x8 width mode
              by DynaxSC
              Hi,

I have this board, where I have exchanged the LGA1151 socket. During testing I discovered, that the large PCIEX16 slot won't by no force work in x16 mode, but keeps to work in x8 mode only.
I tested this with GPU-Z, also with Render Test (but tried also Furmark and Heaven Benchmark - no effect).
Tested on Core i5-9600K as well as on an Pentium G5420 and MSI NVIDIA GTX1070 and 2 other cards, including RTX3060Ti.
Board architecture definitely allows x16 mode, as all 16 PCIe lanes are present between CPU and main GPU slot (nearest to CPU).
